Brit Haskins, owner of the new Parisian Corner, hosted the CEO class and gave them a behind-the-scenes look at a business in the very early stages. Student take-aways included collaborating with other businesses, creating a customer experience, pivoting your business model and required business permits. Students were challenged to think like an entrepreneur and pick a franchise to open in their local community. Their pitch to an investor needed to include city demographics, franchise requirements, target market and overlap between those three.
