The class recently spent a morning in Monticello where they connected with Don Tomann (UMC), Scott Pauly (BlueStone Grill) and Wade Krinke, Patrick DiPerno and Kendra Peitz (WiHa Tools). Student take-aways included ten year vision, non-compete clauses, diversity of customer industries, handling recessions, customer retention, selling on Amazon, handling donations, lease terms, ownership structure and influencer vs. brand ambassador. Don's advice to the class: "You're either growing or you're dying"
