Cheree Hoese and Joel Elam with Commercial Realty Solutions hosted the class and talked about their commercial real estate business. Student take-aways included CAP Rates, business valuation, working with government entities and providing excellent customer service. Cheree's advice, "When business is good, don't forget about the "lean" days." Amanda Kiviaho. owner of OutDo Work, is the 2021 Wright County Economic Development Partnership Start-Up of the year. She shared that her career track taught her to focus on the customer experience, which helped her design the OutDo Work spaces. She talked students though her market research with similar companies that have failed, shared numbers on her calculated risk to try a unique business concept and gave a glimpse of her plans to make her building and it's surroundings more sustainable.
