During the first years of CEO, I would tell students that they will be presenting to the class someday. Those days have started! Michael Norman (2018 CEO Alum) spoke to the class about his businesses in real estate sales, bean bag boards and an ice cream cart. Student take-aways included mindset, daily drive/accountability, cash flow quadrant and self-education through reading and podcasts. Derek Brant with State Farm discussed the need for great communication skills, making choices with marketing dollars and the importance of a good team.
